Butterfly Marketing Software Feature Focus: Membership Database
The feature I probably use most in my Butterfly Marketing sites is the membership database dashboard.
Here’s what it allows me to do:
- Search for a particular user based on their name, email address, IP address, who referred them, membership level, etc.
- Change the membership level of any user, or give them access to a different member-level products
- Turn a regular member into a JV partner for different commission rates
- Discover all the members referred by a specific affiliate, and then set up an email filter for just those members
- Reset a member’s password manually or with a computer generated password
- Login as a particular user to see exactly what they see when they login
- Add new members, including the creation of my own ad-tracking members
- Check to see if someone referred themselves or someone else in their home to get the commission
When you have these features at your disposal, you start to realize how much control you have over your membership sites.
Make sure you get this level of control by getting the Butterfly Marketing software, too!

Does BFM 2.0 have the ability to provide monthly content in an automatic manner? For monthly membership sites, I don’t want someone to join and get access to all previous month’s content immediately. I want to be able to give them access month-to-month. Can this be done?
